7ds agoA pro-Palestinian protest took place on the New Haven Green Sunday.
The march started on College Street with thousands of peaceful protestors flooding through Elm City together. This comes shortly after dozens of people were arrested at a pro-Palestinian protest at Yale University last week.
The protest was put together by over 35 organizations, with the expectation that this would be Connecticut’s largest pro-Palestinian demonstration.
New Haven police were on standby and mentioned they expected large but peaceful crowds. They also said they did not expect the protest to resemble any recent protests happening on college campuses.
