This week Connecticut's Department of Insurance is planning two public hearings to discuss potential double-digit rate hikes for some health insurers.
Officials say a hearing will be held Wednesday to discuss Anthem's request for a nearly 27 percent hike on nearly 57,000 state residents.

On Thursday, they'll discuss rate hikes of nearly 25 percent requested by both ConnectiCare and Aetna.
Insurance companies have complained that they're losing money under the Affordable Care Act.
