The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority approved new rates Wednesday for the former Yankee Gas, which is now part of Eversource.
State regulators gave the OK to $87 million in additional profits for the utility.
Attorney General William Tong slammed the decision and says it will cost the average customer an additional $15.
