Tails were wagging and greeting barks were heard at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich.
Adopt-A-Dog hosted its 36th annual Puttin' on the Dog event – a day that included pet demonstrations, live bands, food trucks, games and local vendors.
The event is meant to increase exposure of dogs and cats that are up for adoption, in hopes that they find a forever home.
Christine Amato, the executive director of Adopt-A-Dog, said it was their “mission to help these dogs who don’t have a voice.”
The event benefits Adopt-A-Dog, the regional rescue that saves hundreds of dogs every year. You can find more information here.
