Officials in Fairfield say up to 100 people may have to quarantine as a result of six COVID-19 cases among high school students.
Most of the cases were found at Fairfield-Ludlowe High School, which will close for two days.
Town officials were quick to point out that the classroom was not the problem. They say there were multiple parties over the weekend that had few precautions against the virus. One of them was broken up by authorities.
They are urging parents not to allow large gatherings at their homes.
Officials believe as the contact tracing continues, more cases will be found
