In the race for the White House, a new Quinnipiac University poll says GOP presidential candidates Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump are virtually tied as front-runners for the nomination.
Researchers found Trump has 24 percent of the vote and Carson has 23 percent.
Further down the list, Sen. Marco Rubio has 14 percent support, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is right behind him at 13 percent, and Florida Gov. Jeb Bush comes in with just 4 percent support.
As for the Democrats, Hillary Clinton has kept her lead with 53 percent of the vote and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has 35 percent.
The poll also found Carson tops Clinton by 10 points if a general election were held today.
