Soggy Saturday is on the way; cooler and breezy Sunday

NOW & NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michelle Powers says Saturday's storm is developing south, but it will still rain, with heavier downpours at times. The storm moves away Sunday with breezy and cloudy conditions. This will be the sixth weekend with rain. Unfortunately this also means western Connecticut will miss seeing any part of the solar eclipse.
NEXT: Next week, temperatures struggling to reach the upper 50s to near 60. The wind will make it cooler. It will be cloudy next week, and there will be a chance of showers on Tuesday.
SATURDAY: Rain showers, chilly. High of 57
SUNDAY: Morning sprinkle, morning clouds mainly. Cool. Breezy. High of 59.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. High of 58.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy, showers. High of 59.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny. High of 63
