NOW & NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says the rain will move in late morning Friday. It will be on and off throughout the day, with downpours at times. Thunderstorms are possible. Total rainfall will be around 1", a little higher in spots but widespread flooding is not a concern.
NEXT: The storm pulls away by Saturday night. The wind also picks up then. Cooler air will arrive on Sunday, and it will be cooler and breezy. Colder temperatures will arrive next week. There could be frost north of the Merritt on up through I-84 corridor. Slightly warmer temperatures along the I-95 corridor and shoreline.
FRIDAY: Periods of rain, heavy at times. Breezy. High of 64.
SATURDAY. Showers, breezy winds, then gusty winds later in the day. High of 64.
SUNDAY: Brighter, breezier. High of 58.
MONDAY: Sun and clouds. Cool. High of 58, Low 43, but colder away from Sound/I-95.
