We had some light rain and scattered showers roll in Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures were pretty typical for this time of year, topping out in the upper 60s.
As we head into Wednesday and Thursday, those showers will stick around, spinning through the area. Expect some heavier or more steady rain at times during the day—so take it slow if you’re out driving. Winds coming in off the water will keep things cooler, with highs on Wednesday only reaching the low to mid-60s.
By Thursday, temperatures start to climb back into the 70s as the rain eases up a bit. Thursday and Friday won’t be quite as wet, but clouds will hang around, and there’s still a chance for a stray shower or even a thunderstorm.
Looking ahead, another round of rain is expected late Friday into Saturday. With the warmer temps sticking around, a few thunderstorms could pop up then too.
