A rally was held in Stamford against a school board decision to eliminate Veterans Day and Columbus Day from the school holiday calendar.

News 12 Connecticut is told that veterans feel disrespected by the move.

As previously reported, school officials said although these would no longer be days off from school, students would be able to learn about the holidays in the classroom.
