'Raul' the peacock returns home to the Bronx Zoo
Zoo officials say their birds are known to roost in trees in the area, but neighbors say it's the first time they have ever seen a peacock sitting in a tree.
FDNY officials say "Raul" the peacock did bite a person during his travels.
Reports about the bird came in around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday. Video recorded on social media and Citizen App showed the peacock up in the trees.
Zoologists say peacocks can fly but only at low heights. They say the highest most peacocks can fly is to the lowest branch of a tree.
