Connecticut real estate experts offer two key pieces of advice for selling a home in today?s sluggish economy.
Realtor Kathy Tanner says the first step in unloading a home is making it stick out. She advises getting rid of clutter, making sure it?s clean and having an open house. Even though you might not see a prospective buyer, it still creates buzz.
"It gets energy out there,? says Tanner. ?Even though they're not buyers they might go to a friend?s dinner party or something and say ?I just saw the best house.?"
Anthony Ardino, a New Canaan realtor, says pricing is also important. He encourages sellers to be flexible.
?Everybody always thinks their house is worth the most,? he says. ?Markets dictate what your house is worth.?
