People will be looking for ways to keep cool - like heading to the beach - with the hot weather Thursday.
If you can't get to the beach, look for some shade to stay cool or get inside to some air conditioning.
"What's not to love. I mean the place is gorgeous," said Fred, from Westport. He says he loves Compo Beach in Westport. He goes there to ride his bike. "You can't knock this."

Doctors warn that this first hot day of the year can sneak up on you.
"You underestimate how much fluid you lose in hot weather through sweating. So it's key to maintain an excellent level of hydration, and the best hydration source is of course water," said Dr. Greg Buller, the chair of medicine at Bridgeport Hospital.
Buller advised using sunscreen to avoid sunburn and sun poisoning. He also said not to leave kids and pets in a hot car.
"Cars get really, really hot, and you can kind of underestimate just how fast they get hot," said Buller.
There's a chance the power grid could take a hit Thursday with everyone cranking up their air conditioning and fans.
