Local Red Cross volunteers say there is an urgent need for blood donations due to several weather-related blood drive cancellations.

Milton and other weather-related disasters forced some organizations to cancel blood drives.

That cost the Red Cross and others thousands of possible donations.

There is an upcoming drive at the First Presbyterian Church on Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Greenwich.
