Officials with The American Red Cross in Greenwich say they expect to send more volunteers from Connecticut to help with a large relief effort for those impacted by tornadoes in the Midwest.
Red Cross volunteers will be deployed for two weeks.
The Connecticut chapter has already sent two volunteers, including one from Ridgefield.
Officials say they expect to be sending more in the days ahead.
The Red Cross is working with partners to ensure people have a safe place to stay and the emotional and mental support they need.
