In a move to make some cold, hard cash for the state, Gov. Jodi Rell wants to sell enough state assets to raise $112 million.
The governor has told state agency heads to identify assets - such as land, buildings, cars and equipment - that could be sold to boost cash. Rell says the state must consider selling off property that would be off limits during normal circumstances.
Agency heads must provide their recommendations to the governor by July 27.
