Governor Jodi Rell (R-CT) continues to top the list of candidates in the race for Connecticut's next leader. A new Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday shows Rell leading possible Democratic challengers by more than three to one with six months left before the election. Rell?s approval rating is 77 percent, down slightly from the 81 percent rating she got from a Quinnipiac Poll in February. The poll shows Rell with 66 percent against New Haven Mayor John DeStefano's 20 percent. She also beats Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy 65 percent to 20 percent. The poll shows both Malloy and DeStefano need to increase their recognition because the majority of voters said they don't know enough about either to form an opinion.
