A new report says that more people are leaving Connecticut than most states in the country.
The United Van Lines annual Movers Survey lists Connecticut as fourth among states with the highest number of people moving out.
Joe McGee, of the Business Council of Fairfield County, says the trend has been consistent for a few years.
The council says that incentivizing younger millennials will keep them in the state.
McGee says that the Connecticut population isn't necessarily dropping, but just growing slowly. He says ways to speed up the growth are improving transportation and attracting a talented workforce.
He also says the Business Council's goal is to grow the state's population to 4 million.
