Report: Stroke could cause 10 million deaths a year by 2050

A new report claims the number of people who die from stroke will jump 50% by 2050.
The World Stroke Organization says it will happen if preventative measures are not taken.
Stroke is the second leading cause of death in the world.
The World Health Organization says it caused 6.6 million deaths in 2020, but is expected to hit 9.7 million in 2050.
Researchers say diabetes, high cholesterol, poor diet and smoking are some of the biggest risk factors.
