A Stamford man reportedly faked his own death to avoid marrying a woman he met at UConn.
British tabloid the Daily Mail reports Tucker Blandford, 23, admitted to impersonating his parents and calling his bride-to-be in the U.K. to tell her that her fiance had committed suicide.
Blandford reportedly told a reporter he got scared and did not know how else to end the engagement.
The two were supposed to get married last week.
