Republican presidential candidate John Kasich was in Fairfield today meeting with voters.
The Ohio governor attended a town hall meeting hosted at Sacred Heart University.
He was introduced by State Sen. Tony Hwang and former Rep. Chris Shays.
Kasich urged voters to ignore the hyperbole and sensationalism of other candidates and listen to reason.
Kasich, who has only won the Ohio primary, has been mathematically eliminated from winning enough delegates for the nomination, but could be named the GOP candidate if no one secures enough delegates to win the nomination at the Republican national convention this July.
