Restrictions for outdoor bars, table capacities and curfews will be rolled back Saturday as COVID-19 numbers keep going down.
The three restrictions being lifted are:
  • Bars that do not serve food can open for service on an outdoor-only basis, allowing customers to pop in for drinks without purchasing a meal.
  • The 8-person per table rule is officially being lifted for outdoors only and do not need to maintain a 6-foot distance.
  • Restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and theaters can extend their hours to midnight starting Saturday night.
The owner of Stamford restaurant Crab Shell says they're excited for tomorrow, but still want to be cautious when extending their services.
