The ride home from school turned scary for some students after their bus got into an accident.

It happened at about 12:45 p.m. in Bridgeport on Fairfield Avenue and Elmwood Place Monday.

Police say the bus was carrying kids from the Tisdale School when it collided with a car.
There were no injuries and the car involved was towed.

Police are still investigating if weather played a role in the accident.
