The parking lot of Fairfield Ludlowe High School was packed with antique and classic cars Sunday morning and into the afternoon.
It's the eighth annual antique car show hosted by the Connecticut Seaport Car Club.
Volunteer Joe Vitrella showcased his 1940 Ford Deluxe. He says that shows like these help people appreciate the evolution of cars.
The event is free to the public and has food, vendors and live music.
Show cars must pay $20. All proceeds go to benefit Operation Hope – a nonprofit that fights to end hunger and homelessness.
