Sen. Richard Blumenthal has announced he and his colleague’s plant to visit Israel and the Middle East in the coming days.

"Our goal will be to reaffirm our unshakeable commitment to Israel, as it struggles to defend itself," said Blumenthal.

The senator says they are also going to be “supporting diplomatic efforts to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.”
