Just days after four people were killed in a Georgia school shooting, Sen. Richard Blumenthal is calling for tighter gun laws.
"We ought to be advocating for the whole nation, as well as Georgia, for safe storage laws, a ban on assault weapons, and other kinds of safety -- gun violence prevention measures that will save lives," said Sen. Blumenthal.
The senator also said that more than a hundred people in America die each day as a result of gun violence, and that number will continue to grow until Congress enacts more common-sense gun safety laws.
