Sen. Richard Blumenthal met with local disability advocates in Norwalk Sunday to try to find a solution to many having limited access to COVID-19 vaccines.
He says that the American Rescue Plan will help disabled residents get vaccinated more quickly.
Advocates say many disabled residents complain about big delays getting appointments. They also say transportation is an issue.
Blumenthal says the Rescue Plan will also help vaccinate disabled residents who are homebound.
