Sen. Richard Blumenthal will call on the U.S. Senate today to reject the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Bill.
The bill has already passed in the House.
It would allow gun owners with concealed carry permits from one state to carry them in other jurisdictions.
The senator says the bill would effectively loosen gun control laws in tightly restricted states.
