Rell will lie in state at the capitol in Hartford from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is welcome.
At 2:30 p.m. there will be a Christian burial at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford. A private interment ceremony will follow at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown where she'll be buried alongside her husband, Lou Rell, a U.S. navy veteran.
