New Haven police recovered a pair of severed human legs near State Street Station Wednesday.
An official says a man flagged down a police officer in the morning near the railroad tracks. The man led the officer to bushes that concealed the legs.
Police say no other body parts were found.
The legs were sent to the state medical examiner for further investigation.
