Prosecutors are asking for more DNA samples to determine if a Stamford man accused of killing a 3-month-old baby also sexually assaulted the child.
Osvaldo Romero, 22, has already been charged in connection with the December death.
Police say Romero asked to baby-sit the child and later called the mother to say the child was not breathing.
Police have said Romero shook the boy to death.
