Incumbent Rep. Christopher Shays and challenger Jim Himes delivered last-minute pitches to win over voters at a Greenwich Chamber of Commerce event Friday.
Diahann Gray is an undecided voter who says she is watching both sides closely as campaign volunteers of Shays, a Republican, urged supporters to vote on Nov. 4 and Himes, a Democrat, campaigned with California Rep. Maxine Waters at a Stamford Church.
?I think Christopher Shays has done a wonderful job,? Gray says. ?I really like him. I?ve met him a couple of times and I like what he says and what he has been doing. However, Himes is a fresh face, bringing in fresh, new ideas. He's young and he's innovative.?
In the last days before the election, the race remains close.
