The staff at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission spent Thursday setting up an emergency shelter to accommodate the additional homeless people expected due to the storm.
Officials at the rescue mission believe they'll see 40-50 percent more people than usual.
The Bridgeport Rescue Mission says men who needs shelter should head to 1088 Fairfield Ave. Women should go to the Guest House for Women and Children at 1037 Sylvan Ave.
