A Shelton family is set to pitch their product on “Shark Tank” Sunday.
Amanda Naqvi, a mother of three, helped design Kudo Banz, a product that helps positively reinforce good behavior in children.
“It works just like a sticker chart, but it goes on your child's wrist so that it is always with them and they are always remembering their goals,” she says.
Naqvi says she got the idea for the band when her son was 3 years old and she was considering more ways to positively parent him.
“He came to me one day and said, ‘Mommy I'm never going to be a good listener,’ and that really broke my heart,” she says.
The kit also includes a book and an app that allows the whole experience to be portable and interactive.
In addition to everyday behavior, there is also a kit specifically for potty training.
The segment is set to air on “Shark Tank” Sunday at 10 p.m.
