Police dogs in Shelton have helped track down a group of alleged car thieves following a pursuit.
Joseph Reddick-Longley, 18, was taken into custody, along with three juveniles.
According to police, they tried to stop the car but instead, the suspects led police on a chase that went both southbound and northbound on Route 8.
Police eventually caught up with the suspects near Exit 13, but they took off.
The police dogs tracked them down in the woods.
