Shippan Point residents say that a rat infested, dilapidated house is a health hazard, and demand the city of Stamford do something about the eyesore.

Neighbors say the home, which is located on the corner of Iriquois and Ponus roads, has been in ruins for more than eight years. They say each year they complain to the mayor's office and a crew is sent out to clean up, but within months the situation is back to disarray.

The city says the house is under foreclosure and it has contacted the owner.
