A lacrosse fundraiser that raises money for local and national veteran organizations has returned to Massapequa Park this year.
Shootout For Soldiers is back at John J Burns Park, with a goal of raising $185,000. Around $150,000 has already been raised.
There are two 12-hour blocks of the event.
Day two of the Shootout For Soldiers starts Friday at 9 a.m.
