Bronx residents flocked to stores throughout the borough Saturday for the last shopping weekend before Christmas.
Hundreds came out to Fordham Road for one-stop shopping during "Super Saturday."
Shoppers say discounts offered at a number of stores made it worth waiting in the long lines.
The Fordham Road Business Improvement District also looked to offer discounts of its own. It created a mobile app that offers more coupons and promotions, making it the first BID in the city to do so. It's available in the iOS App Store and on Google Play.
