Shoppers were up and out early this Black Friday looking for deals and bargains for their holiday shopping.
Wal-mart, Kohls and Best Buy on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk were filled with customers after midnight. Some stores opened as early as Thanksgiving afternoon and remained open through the night.
Over at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, mall managers say the stores were packed with customers just two hours after opening on Thanksgiving. Shoppers were scoring deals on everything from clothes and electronics to holiday decorations. Santa Claus was also at the mall, posing for pictures.
Store managers say the big sellers this year are expected to be electronics like Go Pro cameras and Fitbit activity monitors.
