Wilton shoppers headed to the stores Saturday to prepare for the potential snow that's in the forecast for Sunday.
Shoppers at the Village Market were out to get some last-minute essentials.
"I'm going to make some cookies. Some Christmas cookies,” said one shopper.
Barbara Kimmell bought some salt for her driveway and scrapers for her car.
"I've recently moved here from Louisiana six months ago, so this will be my first snow up here. I'm probably more excited than a child about this. I can't wait. I'm going to make a snowman and snowballs and probably have the best time ever,” she said.
Resident Anne Deware is also looking forward to possible snowfall.
"I love snow. I love living in the east and it’s because of the seasons,” she said.
