With just one more day left to take advantage of tax-free week in southwestern Connecticut, shoppers headed out to cash in Friday.
Many residents at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford say they were shopping for back-to-school clothes. Others were just looking to take advantage of the tax-free items.
Mall workers say tax-free week drew more of a crowd, but they won't know how well stores did until the final numbers come out next month.
