Bridgeport police have arrested a man in connection with a targeted attack near the Trumbull Gardens Housing Complex.
Officials say two people opened fire last night on Reservoir Avenue near Trumbull Avenue around 5 p.m. The bullets hit two parked cars. No civilians were injured.
Police Chief A.J. Perez says the shooters stood on Grandview Avenue and opened fire on men they had a grudge with from an earlier attack.
The incident took place just one day after Mayor Joe Ganim announced a million-dollar anti-crime initiative at that very same location.
Police say this all stems back to the shooting of Jovani Reyes three months ago.
