Sacred Heart University and the American International Yellow Jackets squared off Saturday to raise money for leukemia research.
A portion of tickets sales were donated to Capalbo Strong, to benefit pediatric AML research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The event was held in honor of Charlie Capalbo, a 23-year-old Fairfield hockey player who died after battling cancer four times.
Images of Capalbo were shown on the jumbotron throughout the game.
Capalbo's number 30 jersey was also retired.
