Sikorsky Aircraft has announced that its entire work force is taking a three-day furlough this year in order to free up cash.
The workers will take the days off without pay. One of the days will be May 22, the others will be in the summer and fall.
Sikorsky posted a 41 percent jump in profits for the first quarter, but its parent company, United Technologies, saw a decline in revenue.
