Six teenagers are under arrest Tuesday after the brutal beating of a Trinity High School student in a Stamford parking lot.
According to police, the attack on Thursday at the Newfield Shopping Plaza was apparently about a girl. They say the victim was hit over the head with a bottle and required several stitches. Police believe some of the attackers may be part of an Albanian-led crew that has been linked to other violent crimes.
The six arrested are charged with first-degree assault and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault. They are being held on $100,000 bond. Anyone with information on the beating is asked to call the Stamford police at (203) 977-4417.
