Snow caused wet and slushy road conditions for most of Monday.
News 12's Lauren Fabrizi said that residential roads in Westport were slushy and not as plowed as major roads.
Fabrizi said, however, that main streets like Post Road improved over the course of the day, allowing drivers to travel at faster speeds than earlier in the day.
Many schools in southwestern Connecticut enacted early dismissal Monday because of the weather.
