More than 60 snow-related accidents kept Bridgeport police and towing companies busy overnight and well into Monday morning.
Mid-Town Auto Body, Inc. owner Gus Kerilla said he and his workers were caught off guard by the accidents. One of two vehicles he is repairing includes an SUV with extensive front-end damage. Kerilla said the driver lost control and hit a guardrail. The other car skidded into another vehicle.
"It was just a crazy day," Kerilla said. "Everybody was having a problem one way or another with little minor dents, the big accidents. So it was a crazy day for us."
The light snowfall started in the early morning hours Sunday, creating slick roads.
