Some small business owners are predicting a strong turnaround for the southwestern Connecticut economy by mid-2012.
Owners like Bernie Pasierb and Bob Zukowiski, of Custom Sleep Designs, have already seen a 50 percent increase in sales of their products, and they expect it to continue in 2012.
These owners say they believe that Americans are ready to spend and put their money back in the economy, especially into smaller businesses.
