Some Connecticut towns announced they will begin distributing at-home COVID-19 tests as early as Thursday
On Monday, Gov. Ned Lamont announced 1 million iHealth tests are being allocated to cities and towns.
Towns will receive them based on population.
Some kits will be reserved for vulnerable populations. N95 masks will be handed out too.
Next month, 2 million tests will be given to the state's K-12 schools.
Gov. Lamont says the distribution of at-home tests should help keep kids in the classroom full time amid the Omicron surge.
