M&T Bank's social media accounts have been blowing up with complaints from frustrated former customers of People's United.
The final transition of People's accounts over to M&T took place this past weekend.
News 12 Connecticut received numerous calls and emails from customers who said they still couldn't access their accounts Tuesday and couldn't get a hold of anyone to help them.
M&T says all customers, both new and existing, should now have full access to all their accounts, and all branches are open.
The bank says the customer service line is reporting heavy wait times, but hopes those times lessen throughout the coming days.
